As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I have hacked together some SDL
support for bochs (and therefore also the bochs plugin for plex86) It's
not complete, and as has already been mentioned it will probably not play
a part in the "real" plex86 gui, but it means full screen display for
plex86 now for anyone who is interested, and may in any case be useful for
bochs users.

It's in the form of a patch for bochs, and also in the form of a single
file, sdl.cc which can be used to replace gui/x.cc for anyone who wants to
use it with plex86. Oh, you'll have to add `sdl-config --libs` the the
link options in the makefile as well.
Kevin, if you think this is useful for bochs, you are free to what you
like with it.
