mailinglist message from Ramon van Handel, somewhat describing the
plugin API. 

Note that as far as I know the interrupt "hooking" does not work as it
"should" (I've been trying to get a plugin to intercept software
interrupts generated by running code in the guest, but I have not
succeeded yet).
