Independent from the disk issues, network support will be one of the key features to support in plex86. Networking would be a good area to have a special OS specific driver for efficiency. There is also some NE2K emulation coded by a bochs developer, that I moved over to plex86. There needs to be a Linux port of the low level code, since it was coded for BSD. Networking is a good way to get instant access to services like printing or filesystems on the local machine without having any other special emulation code for plex86. -Kevin
