Sounds like a repeat issue.

You need to configure a 'conf' file.  You can't just run plex86.
That's like running a PC without a hard disk, floppy, or BIOS.

Use conf/freedos.conf as an example.  Download the 10M disk
image file (uncompress it).  Put it just above your plex86
source directory.  In 'user' run:

  plex86 -f ../conf/freedos.conf

We're going to really need to make some good documentation
soon.
