I wouldn't really consider it negative - just insensitive. Some people are forced to
regularily boot into Win95/98/ME just to run apps like Word with reasonable speen(ie:
not using WINE). Unless you do it yourself, you may not realize what a pain in the
arse it is - it's a waste of bloody time and effort. I know I've been tempted to use
Windows exclusively just because of that.
So, Win95 is more than a stepping stone. It's a goal. And it's been met partially.
