I agree if Plex86 can detect a Pentium, use the features of the Pentium. But it would still be nice to run DOS on a 486 virtualized in Linux ;-) Or emulate MMX on my Dual PPro's here... Apparently this is a 64 bit counter that increments until it reaches it's max value and then starts at zero again.  So what is we put a thread in the emulator that just incremented a fake RDTSC counter, and then read the counter whenever RDTSC is called?  Will that work, or will the timing be too far off?
