Hi, In addition to the Debian rescue disk, I tested the root disk which seemed to work. I could select the keyboard configuration and then I aborted (it took about 45 minutes to boot on an AMD 650 with 128 MB RAM). I would love to try the Hurd (www.gnu.org/software/hurd), but it requires GRUB (or multiboot support in plex86), and GRUB doesn't work yet. Thanks, Marcus -- `Rhubarb is no Egyptian god.'
