If someone wants to take up the task of getting one of those free
BIOS projects working in plex86, that would be great. It's a
fairly modular task.
Though, note that the _system_ BIOS that plex86 uses, is the one
that I wrote, and is LGPL. It's not very rich in features.
The BIOS from Elpin is a _VGA_ BIOS. I don't know of any OSS
VGA BIOS projects ongoing. It works well, and gave us a big
jump-start. There's a lot of little quirks in the VGA BIOS
interface, that make writing one a pain. But anyone is welcome to.
