Use bochs instead of plex86. Seriously, it'll be faster. You have to
understand, plex86 represents work in progress and speed is not being
emphasized in the stable builds you are downloading. Use bochs if you
want to use something NOW. I keep telling people that. Bochs will be
faster until the testbed things get implemented.
Hint: make plex86 generate int d even when the guest is in real mode if
an interrupt is generated beyond the limit of the interrupt descriptor
table. Etc.
