Hi all,

how stable and fast is bochs already?

What I would like to use it for (beside caging W???? in my linux)
is to emualte a large linux cluster on my linux workstation
in order to test cluster software.

Assume I boot ten (100,1000,...) virtual linux machines simultaniously
on my linux box. Is that possible (of course I have to take care
about the minimal requirement according to memory etc of each machine)?
can these machines communicate whith each other via a virtual network
like vmware does?
Maybe i could use 10 real machines to simulate a cluster of 100?
Would it be possible to boot the virtual machine with linux
via a network-root disk, so each of the virutal ones has the same
root-disk?

Would it be possible to put all virtual machines running on the same
host into ONE GUI, like on a multiscreen TV with small (3x3, etc)
subwindows or with one subwindow but allowing switching from one
virtual machine to the other like switching between different
documents in starwriter.....

thanks, daniel
