I've finished the first working Debian packages of Plex86. They have the following features: - automatic compilation and installation of the linux module - module loading handled by sysvinit scripts (/etc/init.d/plex86) - launcher script that passes config file to plex86 with the -f parameter - includes binary files for both X and curses. user is asked to choose. - using the free vgabios implementation, thanks to Christophe Bothamy They are now in the Sid archive. It's proven to work on Woody and probably on Potato. You can get them from: http://packages.debian.org/unstable/misc/plex86.html which is down at the moment, try http://incoming.debian.org/plex86_0.0.20011018-1_i386.deb and http://incoming.debian.org/xfonts-vga_0.0.20011018-1_all.deb for now. I hope you like them. feel free to incorporate any of these features to the upstream source tree.
