Hi list,
today I got Plex86-2001_0428a. The Configure/build went fine on my
Linux-2.4.16, glibc-2.2.4, gcc-2.95.3 LFS system.
I installed the font, andd loaded the module:
$ su
# ./misc/load_module.sh
The kernel module is sucessfully installed.
# ^D
$
Starting Plex86 I get the following:
$ ./plex86 -f ../conf/win95
Processing command-line options
Opening VM (/dev/plex86)
Processing config file ../conf/win95...
Allocating 16MB of physical memory in VM
ioctl ALLOCVPHYS: : Cannot allocate memory
$
... and this as normal user and as root.
BTW, what is this:bochs-opt diskc: file="../../62M.980115", cyl=940,
heads=8, spt=17
... thing in the config file?? Will I have to cereate this file (via
dd), how big, which permissions?
