Nope, this happens, when windows is copying files, needed for install to the formatted, scanned disk C. ... some more output: ** this is still from ScanDisc *** bochs: update(): color text mode: mem map is 1 bochs: vga: io write: 3cf: reg 05: value = 10h bochs: vga: io write 3c0: address mode reg=16 ** The installer begins copyinmg files to C: ::read_virtual_checks EXCEPTION: seg=3 0:352AE + 4 bochs: disk: enabling LBA mode bochs: disk: enabling LBA mode ::call_pro: type = 4 ::plex86 panic: ::call_pro: type = 4 Fatal monitor error caused Panic eax:0x4b ... I've tried an original boot floppy, a self-made boot floppy, and installing from a formatted and sys-ed drive C:. I've tried both variants: fdisking C: using Linux fdisk and fdisking C: using Windows fdisk. The results are EXACTLY the same ( register contents, instructions, adresses ). BTW: during installation of windows the PC will 3- or 4 times rebooted (I've forgotten how often it was but it's moretimes). In Plex I see, that reboot still isn't implemented. ...? Regards Frank
