I'm running 2.6.16.18-desktop-1mdk-i686 kernel (but the problem exists with other kernels). I can't modprobe fglrx : (dmesg) fglrx: version magic '2.6.16.18-1mdkcustom 686 gcc-4.1' should be '2.6.16.18-desktop-1mdk-i686 686 gcc-4.1' Usually, I manually change version.h to fit required string, but I don't find it in kernel source.
