the Baghira Theme package is out of date, and it's impossible to contact with the maintainer via PLF-Bugzilla because this non-free project is not available, or even via his private email.
The latest kde-theme-baghira package at PLF, has the version 0.6, and don't run in Mandriva 2006 and neither in Mandriva 2007, it's clearly out of date, and must be updated of removed from the last repositories.
I contacted with Arnaud the latest Baghira mantainer for the Mandriva cvs packages, and he said me that Thomas, the Baghira developer, will release Baghira 0.8 a few days AFAIK.
He also said that this version will be the last version for Qt3 and that the style won't be ported to Qt4 (which would mean a complete revision of the code).
He also said that he has no time at the moment to maintain cvs rpms for 0.7 and he won't release any rpm for 0.8 too.
So, seeing this situation, I would like to make a call for contributing with an update for this package, as an update for the actual baghira PLF package, or to make a new one if the previous maintainer has given it up.
If there is no people with time to do it, I would like to contribute or even maintain this new package if needed, because I have some expertise packaging rpm files, and It would be a pleasure for me to contribute with the community.
What are your impression ?
