In the newest release ATI proprietary driver release 8.29.6 the support is dropped for the following cards: Radeon® 8500/9000/9100/9200/9250 Mobility™ Radeon® 9000/9100/9200 Radeon® IGP 9000/9100/9200
However, all of these are fully supported by the opensource radeon dri driver. I plan to upgrade the plf ATI proprietary drivers for cooker/2007.0 to version 8.29.6 this weekend.
