I meant all standard ttf fonts from WindowsXP (Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, 
Times New Roman, etc).

You can compare my screenshot with pictures on that page. I did 
everything they says and
I managed to make fonts look good on Slackware (I've had to recompile 
freetype), but there is somethin wrog on Mandriva or plf-freetype.
