Non so se fa proprio al caso tuo, ma con la libreria Beautifulsoup è possibile scrivere page templates che impaginano pagine esterne. Per il parsing delle pagine esterne da impaginare ti puoi appoggiare anche a yahoo pipes e poi portare dentro plone con json e affini.
