Hi all, Just wanted to inform you that the AI-team has tuned off svn browsing on dev.plone.org (previously accessible on dev.plone.org/browser).
We have had performance and stability issues with the service for a while now, and with the plone and archetypes repository now being closed for commits and future development being moved to github we wanted to see what impact turning off the svn browsing had. Even though it is too early to tell about stability, responsiveness seems to be a lot better. If you need a web based svn browser to see commit history and previous revisions for a product in the collective please consider moving your product to the collective area on github [1] [2] . If this is not an option for you, please contact us on [email protected] and we will look into alternative solutions for svn browsing that can be delivered in a way that doesn't impact performance of the rest of the service we run.
