I did try this:
* create new plone site
* edit /plone-site/front-page
* click on "Edit HTML Source"-button in TinyMCE
* a popup opens "HTML Source Editor", no errors...

so I do not have that problem. 
Afterwards, I also tried this on a clean Unified Installer install (no
add-ons installed). There, I did not have errors, so I suppose there is
something wrong on your setup... but I can not reproduce it...
