Hi JC, thanks for the advice concerning the concerning the usage of the wrong buildout part.
Only for information: FCKeditor was installed using the [buildout] part before this problem appeared and the entry in zcml-slugs had no negative effect. No to your question: >> Because of problems with searching images via the server search dialog in >> FCKeditor, I uninstalled FCKeditor (2.6.6.3), deleted it from the >> Products >> list in the Control Panel, removed it from the buildout-cache/eggs >> directory. > > What did you mean "deleted it from the Products list" ? > Do you mean you deactivated or uninstalled it? I uninstalled FCKeditor within the portal_quickinstaller of the Plone Site and afterwards within the ZMI under control-panel -> Products Management I deleted the Product FCKeditor-2.6.6.1 (it was not 2.6.6.3 - this was strange) Anyway, I did this because I found a recommendation when installing new FCKeditor version the used product FCKeditor should be deleted. Also I deleted it from the buildout-cache/eggs directory Now coming to the work around solution, which meanwhile I found (but don't ask me why): I rebooted the Ubuntu system, rerun buildout and starte plone. FCKeditor-2.6.6.1 appears in control-panel -> Products management (as before) and in the portal_quickinstaller of the Plone site FCKeditor is listed again. The reason why this only works after rebooting the Unix system is not clear for me, but it works. Now I can look forward to solve the next problem (in another article). ----- Regards Fritz Loseries -- View this message in context: http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/Severe-problem-with-installation-of-Add-On-FCKeditor-tp6773376p6775813.html Sent from the Installation, Setup, Upgrades mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Setup mailing list [email protected] https://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/plone-setup
