OK Here are more minimal directions: Directions to enable color on plone 4 (successful on plone 4.0.7) 1. Go to control panels and tinyMCE Visual Editor and click on Tool Bar tab. 2. Put checkmarks before Forecolor and Backcolor, scroll down and save. 3. Go to the Zope Managment Interface (for example via the control panels). 4. Click on "portal_transforms" then click on "safe_html". 5. Add in, "Styles Whitelist": color background-color 6. Scroll to the bottom and press, "Submit Query" 7. And that's it--your users can use colors.
