Hi,
you will need a acl_users in your site in order for the migration to pass, so : All this need to be done in the "Plone4 environment/buildout" : 1) put your Data.fs in the Plone4 buildout and start Zope (bin/instance fg) 2) create another Plone 4 site in this Data.fs, export the acl_users of this new empty Plone 4 site (will create a acl_users.zexp) 3) delete the acl_users of your Plone site you want to migrate and import the previously exported acl_users.zexp into it 4) launch the Plone migration of this site This should work (anyway, just create a copy of the Data.fs so you can experience different approaches). We did this in some of our projects (export/import acl_users from site to site) and it worked, just because you said that it was not a problem to create users/groups again for you... Have a nice end of day,
removing acl_users, etc. Thanks Gauthier. Just to be clear, are you suggesting: 1. Export my site's acl_users 2. Create new site and import acl_users exported in 1. 3. Delete my site's acl_users. 4. Migrate my site to Plone 4 5. Export acl_users from new site then import into my site. Thanks Praful -- View this message in context: http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/Problem-upgrading-GRUF-to-Plone-4-2-tp7561362p7561402.html Sent from the Installation, Setup, Upgrades mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Setup mailing list [email protected] https://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/plone-setup | ||||
