That's awesome! I would have loved to attend. Unfortunately, I didn't know about it. Maybe it was only announced within the Discord or on Facebook? Those aren't really accessible. It doesn't look like it was announced anywhere public: I don't see it on the mailing list, it's not on the blog, nor is it on the GitHub (but why would it be there anyway). Those are the only places that display publicly and without an account. I see there's a new "event" button on the OpenSteno homepage. Was the expectation that people would see a new button on the homepage? Am I missing something? Hopefully this message even gets to someone. The mailing list says that only members can post. To become a member you have to use a Google account. I don't want to have a Google account and I'm not sure why that should be a perquisite for joining the community.
