Hi Ray, I'm guessing that you're using Plover, so do you have "Gemini PR" selected as the keyboard? If so, go to configure and in the "Machine" tab select the port with your steno machine, or click "Scan" to automatically find it. I need a bit more information to help you out, but this is the least I can do.
