I know this is a (relatively) old post, but when I was in court reporting school (KRAO*UL), most of my classmates were using the Stentura 400. Before their laptops would respond to their strokes, they had to tap a key on their writer so their laptops would recognize their writer was "talking" to it.
They were a bit stunned when I would connect everything to my computer, start my CAT of choice (digitalCAT), open a new document, turn on my ProCAT Flash, and immediately start writing. None of that tapping stuff, just writing. Happy writing!
