cmake-2.4.7-RC-10 has just been announced on the cmake list, but there is a newly introduced bug in the configure_file @ONLY option which I have reported to that list. Because of that showstopper bug, cmake-2.4.7-RC-10 won't build PLplot. I will let you know when a release candidate for cmake-2.4.7 is available that can build PLplot.
