Hi Hazen (off list): Thanks again for your release efforts which are really helping to promote PLplot, give us useful feedback from users, etc.
More comment below in context. On 2007-08-13 21:20-0400 Hazen Babcock wrote: > > The release went ok (at least I think...) given the cvs -> svn > change. Stop. Did you specifically build the documentation first? If it is built, the www-install target should exist and the above command should work. If you haven't built the documentation, then you will get the above symptoms. > > (2) I don't have the necessary permissions to change the platform- > specific download pages. I am sorry, I cannot figure out what (if any) additional permissions are required for you. I just checked, and you have everything that could possibly be relevant. Did it actually respond that you did not have proper permissions, and if so what was the exact message? If instead, you got no response at all, I am pretty sure it is a browser version problem. Try a late version of firefox (which is the only one that worked for me). For now, I have cut down considerably on the number of different release pages. Now there is only the "default" one (which I have edited appropriately) and the usual "Browse all files" one. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
