Hi Andrew:

Right after I sent off the last message going along with Maurice's wishes
about no returned error code for plabort, I realized there is a good option
to get ctest right without affecting the PLplot core; return from the
test_xxx.sh scripts with a non-zero status code if any command output
includes the string "PLPLOT ERROR".

I have committed an implementation of this idea for test/test_c.sh.in.

I have tested this and it works. In particular you need the original test to
pick up any segfaults that might occur as well as the new test to check for
"PLPLOT ERROR". I would appreciate you reviewing the change in case I put
in something there which might not work for all shells or there is an
obviously better implementation. Once you like test/test_c.sh.in could you
propagate to the other test_xxx.sh.in scripts?

Thanks in advance.

Alan
