That plan to put off the plptex3 changes sounds fine.  After all you will
soon have plenty on your plate as release manager. Furthermore, once we hear
from Andrew Ross about whether he wants to do anything with octave before
the release, and we have made our own arrangments for the changes and
testing of the script that does the website example plot generation, we
should be in a good position to nail down the release date.
