The debian packages have been having some test problems on a couple of
architectures. This may well be due to problems in the unstable debian
archive. Rafael is also investigating on the debian developer machines,
but I was wondering if anyone else has access to these architectures
to check whether it is a deeper problem. Ctest success reports also
welcome. Building and running ctest for a range of architectures like
this is a really good test of plplot.

Sparc linux.
-----------

Package builds, but example 21 fails with all bindings. The error is
typically something like
free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x704a27b0

This example uses a randomly sampled distribution, grids the data using
plgriddata then contours it. I suspect it is the data gridding which is
at fault. This routine makes use of both the csa qhull libraries.

Running valgrind on this example under i386 gives a clean bill of
health.

Alpha linux
-----------

Package builds, but octave example p7 fails. The postscript file keeps
on growing until it fills up the device. This example runs fine on other
architectures. The example uses the higher level colormap and shade
calls provided by plplot.

Thanks

Andrew
