I just noticed that swig has supported OCaml for some time.  We are all set
up for generating language bindings with swig (currently our python and java
interfaces are generated that way).  Are you also using swig?

If not, it doesn't matter since we also have plenty of language bindings
which are not generated by swig, but since OCaml is supported under swig it
does indicate that the OCaml PLplot bindings must be pretty similar in
overview to our other language bindings and therefore should be
straightforward to build with CMake.
