That is true, but you might not find it that difficult to write some  
bindings which I imagine would be happily accepted by the AquaTerm  
project.

You might also look at the thread "Build fails with OS X AquaTerm and  
Ada" thread around January 5, 2008. I have been able to get Ada to  
work with PLplot by using the ada gcc compiler only for compiling the  
ada bindings.
