Thanks to both you and Orion for your thoughtful perspectives on when to
drop CMake 2.4.x support, and I agree we shouldn't do it yet.  I will wait
until at least binary packages for CMake 2.6.0 are available for Debian
unstable before bringing up this topic again.

Meanwhile, our current build system does seem to work well for CMake 2.6.0
on at least the Debian testing platform, so everybody please routinely use
that version from now on for your builds so we get no nasty surprises on
any platform when we drop support for CMake 2.4.x.
