Werner told me off-list that using only the static wxWidgets libraries
could lead to problems when plplotwxwidgetsd.{lib,dll} is used in a
wxWidgets application.
Well, me problem here already seems to be one of these:
When I switch to shared PLplot and wxWidget libraries, exPLplotDemo.exe
works!
