Hi,

I justed added the wxpng device (needs still some work, disabled by
default, -DPLD_wxpng=ON needed to test) to the wxwidgets driver
(similar to the pdfcairo, pngcairo, etc. devices) since I figured out,
that's now quite an easy thing to do. Before I proceed with this work,
I would like to ask the PLplot developers about there opinion if I
should continue the work (on the wxpng device and other devices):

Disadvantages:
  * This would be the third png device
  * If all images devices planned are included, we would have more
then 30 devices
  * more testing ;)

Advantages:
  * wxWidgets driver produces nicer output than gd driver
  * on Mac OS X, Windows where libgd needs to be installed, we would
have another option to obtain a png device
  * there are some image outputs available:
     - bmp (not available for plplot in the moment)
     - png
     - jpeg
     - pcx (not available for plplot in the moment)
     - pnm (not available for plplot in the moment)
     - tiff (not available for plplot in the moment)
so we would add further image output formats to plplot.

Reason I ask is, that I don't want to add something to the code, which
most of the developers don't want to be there.

Regards,
Werner
