I've seen the swig dependencies, ja. I will have a look at it tomorrow, 
as to the Windows portability.

Otherwise I believe it might be possible to replace the forks in the 
perl program by some other means of recursion, but I haven't checked yet 
what it does in detail.

Sounds like a good plan to me, I'll give it a try and tell you guys how 
it worked out. However, a slightly more permanent version would be much 
appreciated. :-)
