Hi Arjen:

I have just installed the Windows version of Tcl, and for an
unmodified svn trunk version examples 1 to 13 execute without problems
on wine, but I verify the problem with Tcl example 14 on that (wine)
platform. The message I get is

Can't open
/Z/home/wine/newstart/plplot_comprehensive_test_disposable1/shared/build_tree/examples/x14at.psc

I will investigate independently (starting with your hypothesis that
PLplot itself is limiting the filename length which seems like a good
possibility to me). If you make some further progress on this issue,
please let me know, and vice versa, of course.

Alan
