I confirm this issue. I trust you have a recent backup to allow
restoration of our site without the spam?

Of course, once spammers find you it is relentless so you may want to
take this opportunity to move our Wiki to SourceForge like you have
suggested before.  SourceForge generally have excellent anti-spam
configuration options for all their services.
