Hazen, I believe you are correct.  I should have looked further.
Searches for SwigJS reveal messages asking if it is dead (with no
response).  Sometimes this means an external language module project
has been imported into swig as an internal project (this happened with
Octave, for example), but a search of the swig documentation shows no
mention of javascript.

Sorry, Mark, but I don't think now that swig is a possibility for you.
