Summary: Need additional themes for the line styles

Initial Comment:
The 8 different line styles currently available with pllsty are difficult to
visually distinguish from each other. Currently for my research plots I work
around this deficiency of the default line style theme for PLplot by using a
plsym.c patch (attached below) to define marks and spaces corresponding to
more distinguishable line patterns. However, this approach is too inflexible
since this alternative theme for the line styles is unlikely to be to
everyone's taste. Thus, for maximum flexibility and convenience for setting
line style themes, what PLplot really needs is a function to allow you to set
marks and spaces for any given pllsty index (similar in concept to plscol0a
which sets RGBA colours for any particular plcol0 index) and the ability to
read marks and spaces style files (similar in concept to the -cmap0 and -cmap1
PLplot options for filling the default cmap0 and cmap1 tables).

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
