Not me. It just sometimes feels that way. :-)

I added a bit more tweaking as of revision 11826.

Note that doc/docbook/src/intro.xml has some history, but it is pretty
fragmentary. So I do hope that either Geoff or Maurice can come
up with something more coherent.

Also, don't forget about mentioning our output devices, a deficiency
already noted by Jerry. There is a lot of such device so perhaps you should
just use the wording on our website

"PLplot device drivers support a number of different file formats for
non-interactive plotting and a number of different platforms that are
suitable for interactive plotting."

And then add URL's for the full list of those which are
http://plplot.sourceforge.net/#files and
http://plplot.sourceforge.net/#interactive.

Or intead of that approach you could simply say that

"PLplot supports
a number of device drivers. Our best two are cairo (based on
the pango/cairo subset of GTK) and qt (based on Qt4). Those
two device drivers provide 12 file drivers, 3 interactive drivers,
two memory drivers, and 2 external drivers between them."

I leave that choice or (some other choice you prefer concerning drivers) to you.
