Hi Hazen:

I just finished comprehensive (21 major tests altogether) testing of
PLplot on my Debian squeeze system using
scripts/comprehensive_tests.sh. Those tests found some build-system
issues which I have now fixed. As a result of these tests I believe
that everything is OK on Debian platforms (and probably Ubuntu
platforms as well). But I didn't have time to do any testing for
MinGW/MSYS/wine or Cygwin/Wine. And it appears nobody has had time to
run that script on Fedora and other Linux distributions as well as Mac
OS X and various forms of Microsoft Windows. So this release is not
as well-tested as its predecessors, but I am willing to accept that
compromise in order to get the release out.

Good luck with your release this evening!

Alan
