As of v11887 I removed my (unfinished) work on plget / plset. This was an attempt to provide a 'unified' way to get and set many of the variables in the PLStream structure. While I still think the idea may still have merit, I was overly ambitious and this project turned out to be too much effort for me. I'd also say that we already have pretty good coverage of the variables in PLStream with out current API, and that the likely better approach is just to fill in the few remaining gaps with new API functions since it is not that difficult to propagate them to all the languages we support.
