Hi Arjen: I have tried a number of Tk examples on my Tk-8.5 Linux platform, and they seem to build and run fine with your fix. Of course, I never did get the build error reported for 3602454 in any case (probably because I have Tk-8.5 rather than Tk-8.6) so you should ask the guy who reported this bug to see whether your fix works for him as well.
