Hi Fulvio: Thanks for your interest in PLplot on wxwidgets. I am answering you on the Plplot development mailing list since that is where we typically discuss bugs rather than our bug tracker. I look forward to your replies to my questions below on that same mailing list. Note you have to subscribe in order to post to that list, but that it easy to do following the directions at https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/plplot-devel.
On my Linux platform (Debian testing) with version 2.8.12.1 of wxwidgets) I cannot replicate the issue you have reported. Here is the exact command that I ran: examples/c/x01c -dev wxwidgets That gave a good-looking result. I then right-clicked on the resulting wxwidgets (wxGC) window, and the x01c programme exited without any obvious issues at all and return code of zero. So to pin down exactly what the issue is that you are seeing we need more information from you. Are you using the svn trunk version of PLplot? (If you are not trying that yet, please do so.) Do you get the issue you reported if you run exactly the above command? What is your platform? What is your version of wxwidgets? What kind of wxwidgets device are you using? (You can find that listed at the top of the wxwidgets GUI that is created by the above command, and in my case that answer is wxGC.)
