Hi Andrew: I have made the change (revision 12622) noted in the subject line. The only part of our source tree where NUMERIC_INCLUDE_PATH is still mentioned is in debian/rules. I would advise simply dropping that for the reasons mentioned in the commit message, but, of course, that decision is up to you.
