Hi Arjen: Thanks very much for your recent pause changes for the plserver/tkdemos.tcl case. My tests show that
plw::set_pause .plw 0 and plw::set_pause .plw 1 now give me complete control over pausing for the plserver/tkdemos.tcl case with no pausing commands required in tkdemos.tcl. However, an experiment with the wish/tkdemos.tcl case showed pausing disabled in all cases contrary to our script documentation! That result allowed me to simplify and better document the current pause treatment in our scripts (revision 12743). Nevertheless, I believe some method should be implemented to give complete control over pausing or not pausing for the wish/tkdemos.tcl case. And also for the plserver/runAllDemos.tcl and wish/runAllDemos.tcl cases. Note the current status is that plserver/runAllDemos.tcl has pausing enabled, and I believe that was the case also for wish/runAllDemos.tcl before the recent regression was introduced for that combination (probably by some change I made). To remind you of what that regression is, I get the error message invalid command name "x01" when I push the button for the first example and similarly for all the rest of the examples. This was not an issue when I got wish/runAllDemos.tcl to work earlier in this recent "Tcl and friends" development effort, but I don't know what recent change screwed it up. Is this a Linux-only issue or do you also see that issue for wish/runAllDemos.tcl? Alan __________________________ Alan W.
