Hi Phil: Your patched version failed to work on Debian stable. There is a FindFreeType.cmake module included with CMake so I tried that sophisticated version as a replacement of our own really ancient and crude version, and I got everything to work with that CMake version of FindFreeType.cmake on Debian stable with revision 13025. Could you give that revision a try to see whether it satisfies your current freetype needs (including wingcc which I was unable to test)? I will answer the part of your patch concerning the shapelib find module in a separate post. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
