@Phil:  Now you brought it up, I realize I am not sure about that myself.

@Jim: To help clear this up would you be willing to create a
drivers/README.plmeta file, a utils/README.plrender file, and possibly
a src/README.plbuf file with each giving a short overview (a paragraph
or two at most) of the function of each of these components and how
they interact?
